With our foundations in the South East, we’ve grown to support teacher training across the country. At Teach... Beyond, we lead the way in recruiting, supporting and developing new teachers, working closely with schools and mentors to make sure every trainee has the right guidance in the right place.

We partner with the Tes Institute to give our trainees access to their nationally respected learning resources, ensuring the highest quality training content sits alongside the personal, local support we’re known for. Placement schools then complete the picture by welcoming trainees into real classrooms and providing the day-to-day mentoring that brings it all to life.

We’re proud to work with more than 250 schools across Kent, Sussex, London and beyond. For us, partnership means real collaboration: timely advice, practical guidance, and working side by side on every aspect of teacher training and recruitment. Many of our schools also run recruitment events with us, using a “grow your own” approach to develop existing staff while welcoming new teachers through Teach... Beyond.
There’s no membership cost to schools who join us - just a shared commitment to supporting trainees and strengthening the profession together.

At Teach... Beyond, we offer a classroom-based training route built on real school experience. We work with Tes Institute as our accredited partner, drawing on their innovative online learning resources to give you flexibility and choice, while we provide the day-to-day guidance, mentoring and professional studies training that bring everything together.

You’ll be treated as a member of staff from day one -joining meetings, development sessions and wider school life - so you get the true experience of being part of a teaching team.
Training builds gradually: on our ITT fee paying route, you’ll begin by observing lessons, then steadily increase the teaching you lead as your confidence grows.

Your mentor will be central to your journey, offering close, daily support. They’re fully
trained to guide you through your development, and their work is complemented by regular visits from a Tes Pathway Tutor each half-term.

Many of our trainees also choose to gain a PGCE alongside QTS, boosting both their qualifications and future opportunities. Employment prospects after training are strong, and we’re proud of the high number of trainees who secure teaching roles straight away.

Whether you’re changing careers or just starting out, there’s a route into teaching that fits you. We’ll help you find it. With flexible options, tailored advice, and expert support from day one - through our partnership with the Tes Institute - you’ll have everything you need to get started with confidence and clarity.
We know that deciding how to train is a big step, so we make sure you get the right advice at the right time. You can come along to one of our free events, meet the team in person, and talk through the different pathways into the classroom.
In less than an hour you’ll hear about the routes available, get honest advice on which one might suit you, and have plenty of time to ask your questions. When you’re ready to apply, everything goes through the national APPLY system. Once we’ve received your application, we’ll review it carefully and invite you to an online interview.
The process is supportive and transparent: we’ll give you clear guidance at each stage, and timely feedback whatever the outcome. You’ll also have the same amount of time as other applicants to meet conditions and make your decision.​

For those who need to boost their subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) courses are also available through Tes Institute.

If you’d like to get a taste of school life before you commit, we can arrange school experience visits around your schedule. Whether it’s a single day, a series of days, or part of a week, you’ll have the chance to observe great teaching in action, talk to staff about their careers, experience the rhythms of school life and even hear directly from pupils about their learning.
We believe getting into teaching shouldn’t come at a personal cost. Depending on the subject you choose to teach, you could receive a tax-free bursary of up to £31,000 - or a scholarship in certain subjects. These payments are made monthly throughout your training year, helping you focus on developing as a teacher without the extra financial stress. We’ll talk you through the latest figures and guide you through the application process when the time comes.
For those already working in schools - or looking for a salaried route - there’s the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship and the ITT Employment routes. This option allows you to earn while you train, combining four days a week in the classroom with one day of online study. Course fees are covered by your school and trainees are paid at least the first point on the unqualified teacher scale.

We offer two main routes into teaching: the fee-funded option and the employed route, which includes the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship. Recruitment is a challenge for every school, and we’re here to help with that too. Through innovative marketing, local recruitment events, and online sessions, we attract a steady flow of committed, high-quality applicants.
